First we start with a simple and an easy massage technique that you can perform with your hands. This massage not only improves the blood supply in your eyes but also  eliminates dark circles below it thus playing an important role in cosmetics as well. This exercise will also remove head aches without having any pain killers.

Procedure:
  1. Slowly tap out a circle around your eye with your index and middle fingers. This tapping will increase the blood supply and gives you a soothing effect.
  2.  If you know acupuncture points in your eye like The Zan Zhu point,Si Zhu Kong point or Yang Bai point, then you can directly massage those points which relieve symptoms of pain and swelling in and around your eye.
  3.  If you are not aware of those points, don't worry! Gently press some areas like the inner-eye area, next to  nose (temples) and outer eye area away from nose(end of the eye). Just press those areas in circular motion for 5 to 10 seconds. Repeat it for 5 to 7 times.
  4. By doing this, you will be relaxed and relieved from ongoing tensions and headaches. This gentle massage will stimulate the tear glands thus preventing dry eyes.

Pointing Finger Exercise

  • Point your index finger in front of your eyes.
  • Now slowly move your finger towards left and right side of your body.
  • While moving, make sure that your eyes focus only on the direction of that moving finger.
  • Now look away for a moment and again focus on the outstretched index finger.
  • Move your finger towards and away from your eye and focus on that direction as well.

Accommodation exercise
  1. Hold your right index finger at eye level, about half an arm's length from your eye.
  2. Hold your left index finger about 15 centimeters behind it.
  3. In a steady rhythm, look from one finger to the other.
  4. Do this for one minute.

Butterfly exercise
This exercise will prevent you from dry eyes which occurs due to lack of sufficient lubrication and moisture on the surface of the eye.
  1. Face forward with your head straight and relax your facial muscles and lower jaw.
